Don Murray is a practicing lawyer based in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. He has provided defence services for criminal and regulatory offence matters for 35 years. Since the mid-1990s he has also been sought out as a neutral decision-maker for workplace arbitrations, professional discipline, and human rights claims.

From his office in Dartmouth, Don Murray has been regularly retained to provide criminal defence services throughout Nova Scotia, as well as periodically in the other 3 Atlantic Provinces.

Mr Murray is on the roster of Arbitrators maintained by the Nova Scotia Ministry of Labour under the Nova Scotia Trade Union Act, an adjudicator under the Nova Scotia Human Rights Act, a member of the Professional Responsibility Hearing Committee under the Nova Scotia Legal Profession Act. For 8 years he served as an adjudicator under the Indian Residential Schools Settlement Agreement.
